Pokemon Online

Hey guys,

I know its been a long time since I've posted on any of my blogs, but hopefully I will be able to keep up with it. However since the last time I posted I participated in an IR pokemon tournament at my school. Unfortunately I lost first round to the guy who ended up winning, but I did get to take out his serene grace Jirachi with my Steelix so it wasn't a complete waste. Afterwards I had a ton of battles with people that were just hanging around and people started talking about Pokemon Online.

I have a mac so I always though PO was unavailable but I managed to get it to run with Winebottler. I have been fooling around having lots of fun making teams and battling random people. I haven't seriously tried to make a competitive team yet but I've been doing pretty well. The reason this is so exciting because I'm actually able to capture some of my battles and post them to youtube with narrations. I only have 2 up so far but hopefully I can keep getting good battles to upload. Right now I'm jumping around the tiers, but I might pick one and stick to it for a while just to get to know the meta a little better.

Pokedex

I just got out of school for summer so I should have more time to work on completing my pokedex in white. Right now I'm working on breeding/evolving pokes I have to get ones I'm missing. I also might try to get some through the GTS so I can do this with them, but its so crowded with people trying to get impossible pokes it might not work. I'm also going to do a quick run of Emerald to get the legendaries for pokemon white.

On another topic I had an epic battle with my friend Richard again this one was intense and I might try using a digital video camera to record it so I won't spoil it. That should be up on here and youtube fairly soon. The quality might not be great because it will be a recording of a screen, so if it's not up soon I'm probably working on improving the quality

Getting it Right

I've been doing some work to my team breeding for a timid Ferrothorn with leech seed, and trying to get enough BP from the battle subway for Choice Specs for my T-tar. Other than that I'm going to start testing out a Whimsicott set to get a feel for prankster/mischievous heart. Other than that I've been working on a sandstorm stall team that does include some of my other pokes when I figure out what it will be I'll post it. I have the pokemon but not the move-sets and items yet. I'm also going to start work on a Jellicent to use in my sandstorm team.

Anyway if you feel like it leave your friend code and hopefully we can battle or trade if you want/need something that I'm working on let me know and I can give you one of the ones I don't want.

Failure

So my nuzlocke run is over. Not that I had much of a chance but with 4 poocheynas, swellow and torchic rock was not an obstacle I could overcome. After grinding my pokes up to about 12 I approached the gym. At that point I realized that ember was my only move that could deal actual damage to their pokemon and after rock tomb OHKOing 3 of my poocheynas it crit on torchic and it was down to swellow and spot my last poocheyna... it was a blood bath and after whiting out I had nothing left but the tattered remains of my pokes. It was such a short time but I guess they had to go.

I will probably start another run and hope for something other than a poocheyna and possibly taking the water starter instead. Anyway I might post on some of my gen 5 action later tonight.

So Pokemon

Hey guys I'm a pokemon enthusiast I don't use any cheats ever and I also don't pokesav. I play when I can and as you may have noticed Gengar is one of my favorites. I don't post my battles anywhere because it seemed overly complicated and I'm not very good with the technical aspects of programing.

I mainly battle with friends on campus via infrared that way levels are automatically set to 50 and we don't have to grind all the way to 100.

In the future I will list the pokemon I'm using or working on. Many of my current pokes don't have the right natures =^\.

Also I'm doing a Nuzlocke run of emerald my first nuzlocke ever so I'll try and keep you posted on that as well but it's stalled because on the first five routes I had to catch poochenyas and with the fire starter the first gym is pretty painful.
